GNCC on TV
I ran in the ATVCCS round 5. There were parts of the track that both rear tires were rubbing trees trying to get through.
For my first try, I think I did OK. The only people to pass me were two guys that lined up late that should have been in row one or two and I was on 7. I did pass a 400EX or two and several Raptors pluss the rest of the Utilities including a Scrambler or two. I thought I was kicking butt untill i saw the lap times of the fatsest guys. It was a 7 mile track I think and and lap times were in the 20 minute range for the fastest guy on a sport quad and 23 minutes for me on a Rincon.
This is the only series that comes close enough for me to get serious about; however, GNCC will be at Gilmer (Barnwell Mountain) next Feb. I will probably enter that race to see how I do against the really fast guys. The trails at Barwell suit my riding style and quad alot better than Rabbit Creek.

how you goin? I live in the UK and race in the British enduro champs, equivilent of your GNCC but only 100 or so quads? the standard is getting better all the time and one of our top guys came over and got 5th in the pro class the other day. I would love to race in a few US XC races but need to get a bike ect any ideas how i can do this as i have no big sponsors like Paul Rowlands.
Ive riden in Nevada, Pismo and watched the 92 forrest fest in WV ive also watched the Baja 1000.
any ideas would be great. I ride a z400 here in the championship class. mud is my specialty but i just want to race in the states.
