Dakar 2019
Motul is a Major partner of the Dakar Rally 2019 and I wanted to see who may be watching this year or if anyone has aspirations of ever competing in what many consider to be the ultimate off-road endurance race?
The race will kick off on January 6th from Peru and be shown on NBC Sports and Red Bull TV. You can also follow these hashtags on social media for video and stories from the race: #Dakar2019 #EpicStoryByMotul
The Epic Story by Motul series shares small moments from the race that help give an idea of how grueling and intense the 3,000 mile Dakar Rally can be. Here is one featuring an ATV rider from last year's race:

I think they should change the name since the Dakar Rally is no longer in the same part of the world as Dakar. Instead of driving from Europe to Africa they're just driving in a loop around Peru. I guess it's still the toughest race in the world but it was more interesting when they went from country to country to country.

The Paris-Dakar period was extremely important to Motul and it is exciting to see just how many people are involved with the current series, based on the reputation and stories from those early years.
Here's a bit of information on our involvement throughout the history of the Dakar:
