Hi, I was wondering what ways there is to limit the top speed of an atv for street legal use. I was planing to get a can am renegade, polaris scrambler or a raptor and where I live it has to be restricted to a top speed 25 mph. I would also like to be able to remove the top speed for offroading and such. Thanks for your answers.

 

Just make a block for under the gas pedal that limits your speed. Remove the block when you want to play.

 

Do you mean that I could put something behind the gas pedal to not make it go any further and restrict it's top speed that way?

 

Why not? Have to make it yourself, but could work....
