Default Good News - It's Spreading

I learned another southern Colorado county and community have "legalized" ATV and UTV riding on public roads and community streets. This will help local businesses as the area is close to Silverton, which is a big ATV town here in Colorado. Here is the county ordinance that made it legal, and here is the town posting stating it is legal.

I hope more counties in Colorado see the light. The scenic mountain counties have street legal dirt bikes, Jeeps, SUVs driving low maintenance roads all the time. Why not the ATVs and UTVs too? The rural eastern Colorado counties could have a similar ordinance and legalize all the ranchers who use their machines in their operations. I doubt seriously that the world will come to an end because another Colorado county sees benefits in attracting ATV riders to their local roads and trails.
