Lifted Grizzly Wild Ride

This poor rider thought mastering the obstacle course, especially the tricky log section, meant the worst was behind him. But gravity can be pesky: https://atvconnection.com/articles/v...ider-long-way/ |
I can see the sale ad for this quad now...
"Handles everything but flat land" |
That suspension lift pretty much ruins that Grizzly. It is almost unable to be ridden over any sort of obstacle, even flat land. I would be taking that suspension lift off tomorrow, and go back to a stock Grizzly.

A lift on any kind of vehicle does a few things, some good, some bad. You get more ground clearance in the middle, you can run way taller tires to get even more ground clearance, and as this guy found out it raises the center of gravity making it unstable. And it looks like it's harder to get it upright again.
Where I ride it would also make it a lot harder to duck under branches, if you could even get it down the trail since it's wider too. |
