Snowtoys.....
I lived in BC one time and know a bit about the type of riding you need to do.....my advice would be for the Honda Foreman but don't go for the ES. You need reliability. One fella in the group I ride with has a Foreman ES and it is one terrific PITA. Keeps getting stick between gears, won't shift and he has to get the gizmo out..... or has some elusive electrical problem and the battery goes completely dead.
I am looking to buy another quad and after looking at the Rubicon, Rancher AT, Rincon and Kodiak 450, I think I'll go with the Kodiak. One reason? ....I don't like the Honda floorboards. ...Other reasons? Kodiak has diff lock, disc brakes, ease of steering and we have a good Yamaha dealer. No good Suzuki dealer close. AT is just too new...not yet sure about them.....I bought that 98 Grizzly when it came out and with I hadn't. I'd sure wait a bit before I an AT.
BTW...my father and sister have Honda 300 four x's and they are fabulous. The Foreman or Rancher is as close as you can now get to them.
