You can also get an unlocker from highlifter.com. That will give you selectable 4x4. Might look into that if you want the honda. But id also look at the Kodiak 400 and 450 4x4 imho they are more of a play bike than the work/farm/utility based honda. Just go ride the three and you will see what im saying

The 350 Rancher is a nice machine. Warn (the 424) also makes a selectable 2wd/4wd system for it. The steering really doesn't fight you in 4X4, but if you ride on pavement, it is a good idea to have a selectable. The Rancher 400AT is selectable, but is an automatic (not the best way to go in my opinion), but way more expensive.
I just don't like the trend toward huge, heavy machines on the utility side. That is why, I will never own anything bigger than a Rancher!

I would go with the Rancher or Eiger . I got the Eiger Auto 4x4 ( no complaints) But I may get a Rancher for the wife( it's a little slower) and doesn't have the kick in the butt like the Eiger. The Eiger though , will go anywhere the Monster Quads go(i.e. Grizzly ,P700)
