Blasters are awesome quads for the money! ive had mine for just about a year now. it is a 2003! they do make good trail quads, thats what i ride mostly is trails. but you have to get used to the powerband, like all 2-strokes the Blaster pulls hardest in the higher RPM's so getting used to the power and learning how to manage it with the clutch is important. as for power, for its size the blaster puts out plenty of it! but at the same it is managable once you get used to the quad. you shouldnt need a pipe kit or any other power upgrades for a while, i think its plenty fast and i weigh about 190, at 5' 11'' yet this thing pulls me around with no problem lol. you weigh 110 right?? that means it will be faster for you. the most important upgrade for a stock blaster id say, are the rear tires. the stock rears are like balloons lol, i upgraded to a flatter-profile Sport tire, and it improved the handling GREATLY!! well worth the money for new rear tires.

ps, one thing i will point out if you dont know already!! try and stick with a 2003 or newer model, if you do end up buying a blaster. because the 03+ models are the Updated ones, with the full Disk-brakes and cooler looking front end with the headlight actually built into the front hood! the newer models are well worth the extra $$ over used pre-03 models if you have the money.

oh and toomey's are usually 300$ for the "kit" w/ a raw finish, and 320$ or chrome. (kit comes with pipe, silencer, air-filter, airbox vents, and stickers). or around 280-300 for just the pipe and silencer. (toomey's make lots of power!)
