i want a blaster cause they are cheap! but r they hard 2 maintanence???

you can find plenty atv's for cheap....unless you have to have a new quad. My 2 stroke scrambler has its share of problems...but no not all 2 strokes do, they just are harder to maintain than a 4 stroke. I think you might have to rebuild the engine every couple years or something.

Buuut...you can go get a good used 400ex or something for about the price of a new blaster and it would probably bring you more enjoyment too, anyway, blasters are good lil bikes though.

Blaster maintenence is pretty simple. Just keep the 2-stroke engine oil topped up (unless the injector has been removed, then you will have to pre-mix oil with gas), change the transmission oil now and then, spark plug, and clean the air filter.

so keep the oil thing full all the time...will i have 2 keep the blaster wide open at all times? and r they MX bikes or TRAIL bikes?

If you dont mind to mix gas buy an oil injection block off kit.

since it will b my first atv i will let it mix its self! ty though... wat muffler should i get wen i get 1 or keep the stock 1?

I guess you should keep it stock at first, then when ready, add some more power. Or just go ahead and start off with a pipe---whatever you want to do.
