As for state parks...you need to have a spark arrestor..and I've also seen that there is a limit on quad width in some parks (usually not enforced though)....then, most places make you have over the ankle boots, d.o.t. helmet and sometimes you have to have goggles..........most state places will have a db limit on your exhaust...usually 96 db's I beleive...

As for insurance...I know that you can usually get that info at the dealer..I'm not to sure though..mines not worth enough to put insurance on it...IMO! So ask a local dealer they should be able to hook you up with that info

Oh ok,,,I get what your saying....It depends on what state park...you might want to give them a call and see what they say....most places you'll have to check your quad in and then get a trail pass....trail passes are usually a sticker that you have to put on your quad or a tag you have to put on your quad...It just all depends were your going..I know some state parks get down and dirty...They make sure that EVERY one of there requirments are met and they will check your whole quad before they let you even think about riding....I'm getting ready to go to Hatfield McCoy next month..and all you need is a spark arrestor,,,,then have to pay like 35 bucks for a trail pass which goes right on your quad so the park rangers can see it...hope that helps a little bit more..
