gschept180,

I would beg you to consider 2 quads if you are stuck on the idea of getting one for your child. Kids make bad decisions. You need to be there to stop detrimental behavior. Saftey should always be a forethought. There is a lot of common sense to riding in pairs and having at least one responsible adult present (as well as using proper safety equipment).

Yes, it's expensive. BUT your reward will be time spent with your child. The smile on his face will make it worth it but the bond you will develop could last a lifetime.

ps- at 5'4" your kid will NOT fit on a miniquad.

At 110lbs, and being a teenager, go with the 150. the power difference is, IIRC, only a couple of horses, but you will want all you can get.

Get good safety equipment, and supervise. Think back to when you were 15... did you make safe decisions when nobody was around? neither will he, that's just a fact of life.
