Default need help deciding....pleaseeee

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a quad and am not sure which would be the best one for me. First off i'm about 210lbs and just under six feet tall. This would not be my first quad as i've had 2 86 Suzuki 250 quadracers and didnt think they were too bad but i need a little more power. What do you think is the best quad for the $2500-3000 price range. I've been thinking about the raptor 660, does anyone know if there is only one model of the 660 if not what are the 2 models and what would be the difference between the 2? I'de prefer a 2 stroke but if the better quad happens to be a 4 stroke i would consider it. Any and all opinions and advice is appreciated.

You live in So. Calif., so I assume you are going to ride mostly desert??? First off, for $3,000 all you are going to be able to get is another 86 Quadracer!

The Raptor is to narrow for my taste, but I have to say that the power is excellent. The DS650 is to big for my taste, but I have to say that the power is also excellent. The 400 class bikes have great handling, but less power. And the 450's rock.

What irritates me is!
Those 6-packs work pretty good.

Power seems hard to come by for under $3k. For $3,000-4000 your best bet would be a 400ex. I think you could find a nice used Raptor around $3500-4500. At least in my area. Your's may be different.

400ex or if you could find a good deal on something like a 250R. (250R might need work for that price.)

Maybe I can stretch out my spending limit and look for a raptor but would that really be the king of quads? what would you guys say is the top of the line quad with respects to power, handling, reliabilty and looks with no spending limit? Thanks for your help.

IF you do alot of dune riding...I would get the old banshee....great dune quads...just depends on what type of riding you do...if you did a lot of trails and stuff I would say the polaris scrambler 400 for 2stroke or the scrambler 500 for 4-stroke....the 400cc quad class are sweet and for trailriding would be the best but if your all in open desert or fields then the 450's would be great...........but if you like 2-strokes...I would get a banshee.
