Default Grizzly 660 vs. Prairie 700

I know this is covered somewhere, but I'll ask anyway.

I'm very close to buying a new ATV and have narrowed it down to the Grizzly 660 or the Prairie 700. My local dealer sells both. The difference in price is not a factor. Are there any specific strengths or weaknesses in either. Is their performance about the same?

I was considering a Kodiak 450, but I was never one to take a knife to a gunfight.

Thanks.

The griz might be better in deep mud, but if you put on good mud tires and a lift, the prairie is awsome. Other than that, the prairie has the most hp and torque and is extremely fun to ride. The griz will be tippy when cornering fast and going down an incline at an angle. Both are great quads, but I perfer the prairie.

Does the Prairie V-Twin have an advantage over the Grizz's single? I have two Harleys and I'm sort of partial to V-twins.

Yes, the advantage is the power band is much smoother than singles because a single has to go through 2 revolutions before it comes back to a firing stroke. A v-twin has one of the cylinders always firing on any given stroke, thus creating a smooth power band from bottom to top. That doesn't mean the single is a bad motor. The griz 5 valve single is probably the best single out there considering the suzuki 700 single has not been tested yet. But, when comparing a v-twin vs. a single, the v-twin wins hands down.
