Default Suggestions for our first 4x4 Utility ATV

I would like to purchase a used utility ATV. The price should be under $4000.00. We will be using it to access parts of our property that have no roads. The parcel is steep and we will most likely be making the ATV path as a switchback. I have no earth moving equipment and only want the path to be as wide as the ATV so I would like to establish the trail with the ATV itself. I will be using it to go up and clear some felled trees and haul the wood back down most likely with a small 2 wheel trailer. Also any tips on the best paces to look for one and what to watch out for would be great!

Thanks

Sounds like you need a workhorse.

From what you need it for, I think the Honda 450 Foreman S is what you will find in that price range. Also a Honda Rancher 400 will do the job nicely.

These quads will be no maintenance, will work all day and last you for years.
