LTZ-400 Vs. 660 Raptor?? 2005's

I am getting ready to buy a new atv and have narrowed down my decision to the 2005 ltz400 or 2005 660 raptor. not much info on the performance specs of the 05 z-400 in mags or the net. I know they have made some performance improvements for the 05 with a larger carb and a more agressive camshaft and it looks like they have a far superior suspension setup. I have three freinds that all bought 660 raptors about a month ago and know how they feel and ride but don't know anybody with the Z. I love the raptors long gears for trail riding - makes shifting a lot less frequent which would be a plus for me because thats the type of riding I will be doing the most of. And the power that they have is great! My one beef with the raptor is the suspension doesn't seem that great and it picks the front end up almost too easy. I like doin' weelies but not when I'm trying to power through a corner or up hills. And it feels really top heavy. I'm leaning more and more towards the Ltz-400 simply because I don't want to have the same thing as everyone else and suzuki makes great products, but at the same time I would hate to buy something that I'm gonna get smoked on all the time. trying to keep my purchase under $6000 or i would be looking at the 450's. Any input appreciated from suzuki owners thanks.

I'm 6'1" tall and weigh about 180 if this helps any

i think u should get the z definatly.
it wont get beat by very much in the drags and will beat the raptors in the technical trails because of there tippiness. The z is very easy to wheelie but the front end is not near as light as the rappys

the Z has very long gears and if you throw a pipe on it they are even longer. I think my Z holds up great to raptors. I somewhat raced a guy on a raptor on a little oval sand track and i could beat him. But he may have been a sucky rider? who knows? I definatly would go with the Z looks cooler and handles better IMO. Good luck choosing.
