Help in selecting youth quad
I'm looking to buy a used youth quad for my son who is 8, I have leads on a 2003 Polaris Predator 90 and a 2005 Eton Viper 90R both for about $1200.00 and in excellent shape with very few hours on them. From what I have read both are decent quads but there seem to be negative comments on both. For the Eton, there are many posts of people having trouble with top speed and the answers seem to indicate mods are the only way to correct this. For the Polaris, there are concers over the midline steering bolt position as well as the single front A arms and stiff front suspension.
Can anyone chime on on whether either of these quads are worth considering or if I should be looking for another brand.

Help in selecting youth quad
I have a Desert cat 90cc from raceway atv's that is a polaris clone.....It is pretty great quad for fields groomed trails and slow speed creek crossings (not over the floorboards.....Anything more agressive than that really needs to be on a 4-stroke honda or other well built quad
