How many cc can they be off before its a lie.

Default How many cc can they be off before its a lie.

Thing about a bag of chips is no matter how big the bag is the exact weight is printed on the bag,so you know what you bought.

Are you sure a 302, 5 liter Mustang is not a true 5 liter? My F-150 has a 300 straight six in it and the manual call the engine a 4.9 liter also.

It's true, the "5.0" Mustang is a 302, which works out closer to 4.9 liters. Ford just used some happy math because the 305 chevy is called a 5.0 also. But who is going to argue over a few cubic inches anyway? I to would prefer they just either kept numbers out of the model name or made them closer to the actual size of the engine. In the end, it isn't really false advertising, as it is just a model name/number. Nowhere on say the 250EX is there a sticker that says "250cc."

not sure....but most "model #'s" on quads represent the actual size of the engine....correct???
