How about a Sport/Ute?
I would look into the Brute Force 650 w/ solid rear axle. Power and handling at a great price. While you are at the Kawie dealer you can check out there new 2007 4 stroke kids' units too. If you are only going to trailride and occasionally get into the mud, I would stick with the 4 stroke minis as they are less susceptible to water induced maintenance problems.

He also said money was not the issue.

I see several references to agility and sliding ability, none to ride quality. I don't think you are going to tax the suspension much on that Brute at 90 speeds. I could see where IRS would be better in the mud, but again, the solid axle is more than capable of going places a 90 can go. This quad has more than enough power for pulling, it will do wheelies and slides better than pretty much any IRS 4x4 I can think of. It is a bargain $$ to boot. I still say it is a valid option and a model scamutz should at least give a little attention to.
Now I'll really get flamed- if you want a model with a foot shift, you are going to have to look at the Suzuki Vinson or Eiger. A/C has the same 400/500 engines in some of their quads, but I wouldn't call them really agile or slideable. They are great for work and have a good ride though.
Of course, if money is not an object and you really want your wife to ride double, maybe you should just look at the Outlander Max series.

I'm heading out the Kawasaki and Can Am dealers tomorrow AM. One thing that I realized reading these forums that maybe I wasn't aware of...it seems like ATV's have gotten a HELL of a lot faster since I was into the sport years ago.
Thanks a lot for all of your help. If I were to buy a Brute Force...is there any benefit of the 650 over the 750? It appears that even the Prairie 360 still weight 600 lbs...man they're big.

Yes, the big bore/power wars have been raging the past 6 or 7 years, todays open class quads are monsters compared to what was available 10 years ago. From what I have heard, the 650 Brute with IRS actually has better steering geometry and a slightly hotted up motor than the 750. I'm not saying it is faster stock, but it does handle better. The 650 solid rear axle is basically the same quad that has dominated the GNCC utility divisions for the past few years. It looks like Can-Am is taking over now, but plenty of Prairies(aka Brute Force but with diff plastics and 50cc more engine) are still campaigning. Finally, atv scene dot you know what had a great review with video of the 650 Brute Force w/ IRS not that long ago. You should check that out.
