so a limited slip diff is better than any diff lock.

Lets not get carried away now.

Let me explain my thoughts on a locker vs. an auto locker/LSD.

I have a few lady friends who like to go riding, when I put them on my quad I always leave it in 4WD, I generally take them through some pretty easy stuff but there are places where 4WD might come in handy, they seem to like riding through the creeks and rivers so I think the 4wd comes in handy in these situations. ATV's need to be marketed to the mass audience, I'd say that a much larger percentage of people won't need a locker and probably have no use for it.......that being said some do make that option available. I'm telling you most new riders just wanna get on and ride, don't wanna worry about switches, shifting etc.....Female riders are the biggest untapped market right now.

On the otherhand, if dealers asked their customers "would you like us to add a switch for a locker?" I would bet almost , if not all of them would be pleased to do that

This locker thing gets beaten into the ground at times but to say one is better then the other is more a matter of opinion and preference IMO.

Remember, Suzuki was the first in 4 wheel atvs, they are first ones, Suzuki invented the quad, everybody else copied from Suzuki. When you own a Suzuki you will get respect from other atv riders cause you own a Suzuki.

where do you live?
the machines here are atleast 1k more than yours

Well if people were giving you respect just by what you were riding. You'd be proud also.
