Congrats! Get some better tires first but don't go to big. I have 27" Dirt Devils now. If I was to do it over, I wouldn't go over 26".
The stock tires roll too much in the corners.
They also get punctured too easily in the mud holes as Rinman can tell you. LOL.

The power of a Rincon is adequate (I think I spelled that right). They will run around 65 mph hitting the revbox. I feel that the power is near perfect for the suspension. Meaning you can run flat out and the suspension can handle it. These are very forgiving quads. Hard to get into trouble on. BUT becareful approaching steep hills. Not much engine braking can get you in trouble going down hills to fast. I figure everybody who loves to bash the Rincon for its engine braking would like that statement. They will wheelie in stock form without much effort and a couple on mods will make them wheelie machines. I don't recommend going out and racing any Brutes or Outlanders though.
Also as Foreman Dan stated plan on getting some new tires as the stockers will roll up under you in turns and this really affects steering. Also they are very thin walled and will puncture very easily, as I found out this past weekend.

I had an 05 Rincon with all the mods. Something must have been wrong with it. It ran good at first but then it wouldn't pull hills and deep snow. My 07 is comming home today. This time no mods for me. I think putting on the jet kit with only .2 miles on it did something bad when it was breaking in. Maybe because I was just hitting it wide open testing the jetting. Anyway, I have tested the outlander 800 and the grizzly 700 (my neighbor has them) something about the outland didn't feel right to me. The grizzly was nice but the tank comes up right at the front of the seat and it hurt some personal areas. The grizzly was more tippy than the outland and the rincon but it wasn't mine so I couldn't adjust the suspension. When I got on the 07 Rincon I just felt like it fit me better. I older so fast great and all but ride quality is most important.

Thats kinda strange about your 05. Mine loves to go up hills, most of the time I don't get lower than second gear on any of them. But I ride with a guy who has ITP wheels and dirt devil tires, skids, and a winch and his will still wheelie with a little effort. His is an 06. He loves it.
I've ridden the 800 also and like you just feel better on the Rincon. Haven't rode the Grizz yet. I think you will be very happy with the 07. When you get it let us know what you think. Its kinda nice to see someone on here with another Rincon. Most people on here haven't rode one and would rather just complain about them.

My 07 Rincon got delivered Friday. I didn't have a nice day because when I got home for the delivery my house was flooded. A fitting under the sink failed and ruined the first floor and finished basement. The worst part is it filled my fiberglass heating ducts with water. I have a lot of work to do. My dad and I built the house ourselves 10 years ago so I'm a decent wood worker. In fact the worst part of this is a custom built maple vanity was destroyed. No body got hurt and we have insurance so it will turn out OK. Back to the fun stuff. I put on about 18 miles and I love this quad. My 05 had to have some kind of problem because this one runs much better. I would say 50% better in power. The handaling is tighter and the throttle response is great. I will try to get some links to videos and pictures once I get the house fixed up.

That sucks about your house. But glad your happy with your new Rinny. If you think it feels like double the power then you really had a problem. But the new ones are sweet. The throttle response from the EFI is instanteous and the transmission has been refined also.
But good luck with your house.
