For someone your size, the little Blaster is great for only one thing, and that is PLAY riding. The quad is so little and light, that you can flick it around like a toy. Great fun!
That said, I am 5' 7" as well and I sure wouldn't want to do a couple of hours trail riding on one, much less an all day cross country ride. The quad is to cramped and the suspension is mediocre at best. On the trail, being a 2-stroke it will require a certain degree of clutch work in the tight stuff....eventually that will get annoying. Plus, a Blaster is going to need more frequent rebuilds than one of the good solid 4-srokes.
If your trails are really tight and you want to stay small and agile, I would pick the 300EX. If you can go bigger, I would pick the 400EX for trails. For more open country or the dunes, I would rather be on a Z400.
