Gift for husband...Part II
Thank you all so much for the advice! So definitely at least a 400...that's good to know, because he has mentioned in the past that he thought a 300 would be enough! As for sport vs. utility...I'm thinking utility? And yes, what I'm basically buying will become my bike and we'll buy him another one. I love to ride as well...we went to the Smokey Mountains for our honeymoon and rented a few and went riding...it was awesome! We're total rednecks from Ohio!
jaybeecon55 I love the idea about Vicky's Secret wrapping paper...clever!
My last question to you guys is about insurance. My husband seems to think it's a waste. Opinions?
Lastly, I found this bike on Craigslist.com Opinions?

Probably not a bad buy, I just dont care for the Polaris name on anything.
I like Yamaha's better, but there are a lot of people who really like polaris. I would definetly say the 400 or even a 500 cc engine. If you end up with the 400 you would probably be good for a while on it.

alright, i believe you said your husband was 28. Thats pretty young, im not to sure you shoudl go utility. Sport bikes are so much more fun, but since he is kind of a big guy i believe a Scrambler is in order. I dont usualy push the polaris brand because of all the stories ive heard but everyone has polaris on the trails so they must do something right. Ya a 500 polaris scrambler, its kind of heavy but its likea sporty 4x4. ive seen some for cheap, you may be able to get a good deal. Whatever you decide good luck, im sure he will love it.
