What's the best all around utility model?

Looking to buy a new atv and with so many choices it's tough to narow down the brands. I'm looking at the 400-500cc range and all the different companies make them and thay all seem to have similar features. I do want one with 4x4 and auto and will use it for all the typical atv stuuf...hunting, play riding, etc...I know this is a loaded question but who makes the best? Is it Yamaha, Polaris, Honda, the list goes on.

HELP!

Edited to add...didn't see the similar post below this one so forgive me...some other info...money isn't the issue, I live in New England, will ride lots of different types of trails but probably won't do wacky stunts and hill climbing stuff ( too old for that), I guess my question is that all of the models in the 400-500cc class from all of the manufactures are very close...what's the best choice. Opinions are like, well you know what, and while we all have them, I wouldn't ask if I didn't want to hear your answers.

Thats easy! One of the Polaris X2 models.
Use for 1 up or 2 up or pick up to haul stuff, heavy enough to tow around cars, boats, trailers etc.....plow snow, push shale, mow grass!
Very good for trail riding also. Great in mud and rough terrain, smooth and fast on fireroads.
Best all around utility atv.

Even better if your older and want a soft ride and good handling with lots of nice features like storage, ADC/AWD/2wd/turf, steering headlight, 6 gal. gas tank, IRS, EFI, steel skids welded on, nice wheels, high mount winch etc....

There are so many models..lol I would look at the Grizzly 450, they are very well made quads. I would also check out a Polaris if you are looking at automatics. I have a Rancher 420, but they are not offered in automatic. : ( Definitely drive the Grizzly though, they are tough.. and cheaper than a Polaris.

Last year when I worked for ATVRider Magazine, we did a mid-size utility shootout. If you look at either the the Yamaha Grizzly 450 or the Honda Rancher 420, you'll be really pleasantly suprised!

I have the Honda Rancher 420 and I am quite pleased with it. I use it for everything such as hunting, fishing, long rides, snow, and very cold temperatures. This quad is by far the best bang for the buck.

I've been really happy with my Eiger, but if money were not an issue I would have gone for the KQ450.

What about Can Am? I looked at some of those this past weekend and they seemed pretty good. I didn't have time to test drive one but i may go back.

Also, what would a 450 get for gas mileage? Just curious.
