Possible trade

I talked to the dealer yesterday...they want 2k boot for trade. I calmly replied I like my Grizzly just fine thank you. A friend of mine just bought an 850 and that is what gave me the fever in the first place. The 850 is much faster and the twin is smoother but in the woods I like my Grizzly better.

Hello,
I have an 08 Griz with eps and am wondering just how much faster the 850 is? I wouldn't trade my Griz for one if they gave me the 2K, but I would like to know how much faster it is than mine. I am completely pleased with mine, and couldn't stand to have anything any larger in physical size as I already do alot of ducking and rubbing trees to keep up with my Griz 450. That little 450 is amazing in the woods. I wish my 700 was smaller physically sometimes.

Hey Cody,
I would estimate the 850 to beat my 700 about 6 to 7 lengths in 150 yards and pulling away. The 850 has a lot more hp (70 stock they claim) and being a twin much smoother. The ride is (suspension) may be some smoother as well but not much difference. For it's size, the 850 is surprisingly good in the woods, however, not as nimble as my Grizzly but the 850 I rode is non power steering..that may be the difference. My Grizzly is totally stock as well as the 850, but, I seriously doubt you could make a 700 run like the 850 without serious mods...a pipe and a power commander would'nt get it. Not beating on my Grizzly at all and really like it, but, if you get a chance ride the 850...they're bad.
