Looking to Buy an ATV - Newbie Questions
#11
Thanks for the heads up Duster. We did think of all those things and have had the measuring tape out and we are fine. We are aware that we will have to ride on the wheel wells, and will build some type of ramp to make that easier. The wb on the 2 ups are about 12" longer so we will have to leave the tailgate down and they assure us that is not a problem so I think we are good.
We didn't want the SxS for that very reason that it may not work on some of the trails where we go and doubt that we'd get that one in the back of the truck. Whatever one we end up with we will be sure to run a tape on it first to make sure it fits.
Thanks for your input.

Some places you have to have a legal 2-up trv/atv to ride but, we have certain areas here in missouri that you can ride double on a regular quad but if you plan on riding double for a long period of time on a regular quad, the passengers legs will tend to get hot because of the exhaust and most of the time their legs are not long enough to put down on the foot peg so it gets real uncomfortable quickly. Then they tend to slide into you and just makes a long trip not as enjoyable. The 2 up will have a padded seat, foot pegs for both and handles for the passenger to hold on too. The arctic cat has electronic hand warmers on their passengers handles and on the drivers handlebars depending on which model you get.Nice! Polaris might have it too. good luck. I have hand warers on my bike and they get real hot, better than freezing though.
