Ive always bought my quads at a local place, but I thought maybe it was possible to ship a quad. Would this even be possible, and if it was how much would it cost?

It depends on the quad you want. If you want a sport quad then they only weigh around 400lb or less. If you want a utility then you are talking 600 to 700 lbs. Just talk to the dealer you are wanting to buy the quad from to see how much they would charge you. I can have a 400lb quad shipped through my work for about $125 but thats getting a huge discount from one of the carriers we use a lot. The dealer should have some similar pricing with a carrier that would bring the quad out.
All you can do is call and see. Good Luck

I'm not sure about quads, but I have shipped a motorcycle before (BMW R1100RT, about 550/600 pounds??) from Chicago to SE Virginia. It cost about $300 a year ago. Talk to your local bike dealer, especially the speciality shops. They can give you the name of a shipper and maybe a ball park figure.
