Is it worth it or shold I get something else. recommend anything that sounds reasonable utility or sport buying from berts mega mall link-http://www.bertsmegamall.com/

i looked on that website and didn't see the kawasaki. what're you gonna use the quad for primarily? gonna do trails? dunes? any work? hunting? any of those 450cc sport quads will work for you. i personnally do not like kawasaki, but on that website, i'd go for the sea doo outlander 800cc utility quad. i use quads for work, hunting, and general cruising of the trails. don't forget to negotiate on the prices!!!! quads are like automobiles. the dealers will negotiate. remember TT&L ain't included, so when you make a deal, tell'em you want the "out the door" price which includes TAX, TITLE, AND LICENSE. don't let'em know how much you got to spend or they'll get all of it and leave you no gasoline money. just my two cents.

Sounds like a tight fit to me. The 300 is a small chassis ATV like the 250 class just with a little more cc same smaller dimensions and small 22" tires. Not much of a upgrade over your Recon as you may think.
You should at least move to the larger mid chassis ATVs .
For example, the 300 Grizzly and 350 Grizzly are not far off motor wise but the 350 is a much larger ATV to ride room and space wise with full size 25" tires.

I myself with 5K to spend would be looking for a mint condition Full sized ATV like a 500KQ or 500 Foreman.
If buying new the 350 Grizzly is the cheapest Mid size Chassis ATV out there. I.m impressed with mine but its a rough ride with its straight axle.

If you have $5K, I would recommend the KingQuad 400. It has much more room than the competitors (Grizz, etc.), and looks like a full size quad. You can usually catch one on sale, new for $4999 somewhere. See you can find a 2012 still sitting at a dealer. These have EFI, and if you get the ASI, you'll have an auto transmission. Just my $0.02.

Your size and weight- should be on a 650 or above full size atv. (500 at the very least)
The sportsman 500 or 800 , outlander 500, 650 & 800, king quad 500, 700, the grizzly 650, 700 or 750, the brute force 650 or 750. all within your price range for 2005-2008 4x4 atv's :twocents:

With what your saying, I'd at least get 400 cc. As far as model, it's all in what your using it for.
