2007 Honda Rancher been sitting for awhile worth buying?
Hey guys...
Need some advice. I have come across a 2007 Honda Rancher 420es that is for sale in my area. It only has 273 miles on it, but has been sitting in storage for 3+/- years. I haven't had a chance to go look at it, as it is a bit away from home or work. Any thoughts as to if it is worth looking at buying? He is asking $3700 for it. He said he thinks he recalls putting fuel stabilizer in it before storing, but not 100% sure. He jump started it and it started up and ran, but as soon as he disconnected the jumper cables it died.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Does not run or have a winch? No way I,m paying $3000 for something that may needs somethine minor or major.
Look what this guy got for $1500 , probably has a warn winch most Yamahas do from stock and IRS. http://forums.atvconnection.com/yama...b-removal.html
The biggest feature of all is he can take it out for a ride.
I can maybe deal around a stalling problem when releasing the gas throttle, but not running at all? Move on or tell him to fix it and call you back.
With EFI you can run into a expensive computer brain box problem in a hurry.
I love EFI on my car or truck but on something that is ment to wollow in a filthy mud hole all day, not so much.
