Used ATV mileage

Used ATV mileage
I have a question about what most would consider as far as higher mileage on an ATV. Most of the used ATVs I am seeing are somewhere in the 600 - 2000 miles...with what appears appropriate hours to go along with those miles.
I have recently come across an ATV that has 4000 miles and want to hear peoples take on if that would be a ATV they would personally avoid?
Granted, I do understand it primarily comes down to the ATV condition and if the appropriate maintenance was performed. I am using this info ( Tips for buying a used atv....) as my check list and the specific Grizzly with 4000 miles is something I am considering checking out but I have not personally had my hands on it yet.
Anyway, would you have any concerns (and what would those concerns be) about buying a 4000 mile Grizzly if the unit checked out OK otherwise?
Thanks.

Lots to consider. At ATV with 4000 Miles and had regular fluid and filter changes can be in better shape the a ATV with 2000 miles without many fluid or filters changes.
A ATV with 4000 miles of easy slower general trail riding is better then a ATV with 1000 miles of mud bogging or constant WOT high rpm speed road riding.
As a rule of thumb I find is every 100 hours represents 1000 miles. 10mph average.
Low hours high mileage indicates a lots of fast road riding.
High hours and low miles is very slow going like plowing or doing house yard work. Lots of idling time.

Thank you once again for your help!
I do know the biggest item for buying used is going to be the actual condition the ATV is in. Generally people who keep their rigs checked-over, cleaned up are more likely to also be doing the proper fluid maintenance.
I am hoping to have a bike sitting in my garage within the next 3 weeks, 1 week if things work in my favor.

Grizzlys are a great quad I hunt with a guy that rides one.
As far as your mileage ?'s CVT transmissions like the grizzly has wear belts and other components faster than say a manual shift honda or the like.
I looked last year at a 2000 foreman 450 that had 18,000 miles on it! Yes that's right 18000 miles
Rode like new well taken care of but you know it's 3/4's used up or more. The guy ride it every day on 100 acre ranch.
IMHO If ya can wait watch for the right rig.
There out there low hour low mile garage kept etc
I found this low mile rare tan Forman [IMG][/IMG]
