Default EBS or not?

I have a 2009 Polaris Sportsman 850 in camo. At the end of my last trip I could not switch gears while it was running. I changed nothing on it prior to this happening. From what I can tell its either the EBS, lose engine mounts or belt alignment. My question is how can I tell whether or not my Polaris has an EBS?

Ebs clutch system. Several reasons for hard shifting as you mentioned. One common one also was wear on the vespel washers on each side of the one way clutch allowing the belt to touch the inner sheath. This puts pressure on the rear clutch making shifting hard. Items #2 and 19. Plus blowing out accumulated belt dust can help some.Polaris ATV Parts 2009 A09ZN85-8X ALL OPTIONS SPORTSMAN XP 850 DRIVE TRAIN, PRIMARY CLUTCH Diagram
