I am purchasing a 3 wheeler from ohio, I live in Michigan.. I know there is no titling in MI for pre 90's ATV's and a Bill Of Sale will suffice in Michigan Law. The seller is being super helpful and I just dont want to keep going back to him if I could get all I need in the first place. I have the ebay transaction, he is a long time member and I will have a SOS Bill of Sale.

My question is will the bill of sale be ok to register in MI?

 

You should call your local motor vehicle department for correct information.

 

You may have to wait at the SOS office for an hour or more but eventually you'll get an answer, and it will be better than any wild guess I could make on the forum.
