Buying Question

I'm looking at a couple Yamaha Grizzly 700s
One is a 2009 with 150 miles in mint condition
The other is a 2014 with 1300 miles in decent condition
Any issues with these ATVs if they are not run a lot?

Problems that can occur from an Atv sitting for a long time are: Needing a new battery, Needing a new spark plug (neither are expensive), and a carburetor needing cleaning. Spark plugs are only a few bucks, batteries are like $40, and you can do a carborator cleaning from youtube videos and a can of break cleaner. These are fairly easy and not very expensive problems that have a good chance of not even happening.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply.
I pulled the trigger on the 2009.
It was from a dealer so as part of the deal I had them do a full service on the unit.
It's fuel injected, so no issues with the carb.
The prior owner used it the same way I will, as a home plow.
He kept it on a battery tender and took good care of it.
Except for a couple "shoe scuffs" it looks brand new.
I picked it up Saturday.
Rode it around a bit.
Came with a plow which is nice.

Congratulations on the new ride. I hope you can hit some trails in the future to really appreciate what these machines can do.

When I read this the other day I was thinking that 150 miles is like one weekend ride in 10 years, then figured it was used just for plowing. Rubber hoses and seals degrade over time but if nothing is leaking now I wouldn't worry about what might happen. Congratulations on the new stallion in your stable.
