Hello...I am 14, 5'2 95 lbs. I currently own a Honda Recon...but I am looking for something a little faster and sportier. I was looking at blasters, trailblazers (is that any faster than a recon?) scrambelers, and mojaves. I am riding mainly in open fields, a couple trails, and a few trips to the dunes. I want something that i can handle. I need help!! Thanks!!!

I'd go with a blaster, sounds good for you, trailblazers are slower than recons (they get there fast but thats about it) Good luck! Do some research and try them out, buy the one that you like.

Get a 300ex. I am 13 5'0 95 lbs and it is my first quad and I ride it like a pro. Also my 10 year old bro who is 90 lbs 4'9 rides it great to it is definetly faster than a recon and any other quad you mentioned except scrambler.

Call this a shot in the dark but you've never ridden a blaster have you? 300ex's are nice but for $4,500 you could buy something WAY badder, add $1,000 and you have a NEW banshee or 400ex, personally I think 300ex's are WAY over-rated and blasters WAY underrated, blasters accelerate faster, they go faster and personally I think they are "funner" to drive. They are rock solid tough machines, you can beat the living h#ll out of them and they like it, try riding your 300ex like a blaster (hard and fast) and see what happens, also the front fenders look super flimsy, mabe last a day around here.. The reverse and electric start is nice but not if you kill the battery out on the trail and cant get it started... anyways just my opinion, I like the 300's but they are way over-priced and over-rated.

We have a Blaster, 250EX, and 300EX, all which are in your size range. So, here is my mini review:

Blaster is a hot little bike, handles well, and responds well to mods. The suspension is pretty basic though. Ours (and everyone else I know) hasn't proved to be real reliable. It is down for some kind of repair ALL THE TIME!! The money you save on the purchase price, you may well use up in repairs!

250 is a sporty version of the Recon. It's suspension is better than the Recon, but is still pretty basic. It pushes a little in the turns, and is a bit tippy. Mods for it are still pretty limited.

The 300 is a full on sport bike, and has good suspension, reasonable power, jumps great, and it's VERY durable!! This would be my pick for you. It's a bike you can GROW INTO. The other two are bikes you will GROW OUT OF!!

i would get the 300ex they have good power and the blazer is really slow and the blaster probably wont run right when u get it, that 2 stroke is not realiable from what ive heard my dad has a scrambler 500 and that is pretty fast but im 13yrs old 5,4 90lbs and im very expirianced and i can handle that in most conditions. i think u would defenitaly like the 300ex

I used to have a Polaris Trailblazer and it would probably go sixty+, I would go for somthing four stroke because thats what your use to. Four strokes are more reliable, also they wont get away from you as quickly.

Go with a 300ex.. They are light and fairly fast..I suppose, I rode a 250ex and I loved it, it was strong fast and very agile..I could spin it around on a dime.. I'm 5'8" 135 and it did great....
