First of all I own a 2000 ArcticCat, It has been called the workhorse, that it is, it is kinda slow however my top speed is about 60, but it can pull anything that you can hook a chain to. If you need an Atv to slip quicky around trails go with a honda or a King quad. but if you need a brute go with a cat.
Go test drive all of the ATVs in your price range, and see which one you like best but to me it will depend on your style of use.

Not trying to start trouble fellows but why when people answer honda they never can give any facts to back it up but...its reliable and it is reliable when you keep the same basic machine for 10 years and change hardly nothing, giving riders the same ole thing with no luxurys or changes that will give you trouble then yes I do admit it is reliable or is it that people that ride hondas don't want you to know this read the specs and you do the comparison here is the specs on 3 bikes you decide:

Buy a HONDA its the Best atv brand on the maket. They wont ever give you trouble. What ever you dont buy an artic cat. A good atv would be the Rancher 350 4X4 but if you want to spend more there new 500cc Rubicon is coming out soon. A good sport would be HONDA 300ex and if you dont want to spend alot of money and dont want a 4X4 get the Honda Recon. Just please buy a honda its worth it.
