I asked a similiar question a few months ago & one reply was it ran like a Recon on steroids.

I have no complaints with my 4x4 it does 50 mph

If I wanted something faster then I would have purchased a 400EX!

Greetings,

I took a Rancher ES 2X4 out for a test drive (very cool dealer). It was quick and easy to handle -- the turning radius was tight and it was so much easier to steer than my 4X4 450. Overall, I've found the advantages of four-wheel drive to be a bit over rated. I'm sure that its important for guys who like to push through deep mud, but I find that my front wheels kick in very rarely -- mostly in the snow. And since getting a Recon, I realize how well I can get along with two-wheel drive. I go just about anywhere I want without a slip. Granted I ride on logging roads, open fields, and woods most of the time. Given the extra cost and weight (and steering drag) of a 4X4, I'm not sure its worth it. I would have bought the Rancher but it wouldn't fit on my trailer with the 450ES, so I went with the Recon (which we all love).

Well i got a problem, I can't test drive them at my dealer, they have no ware to drive them there.
When I do get one, it will haft to be a 4wd s model. I think the LCD is very nice and I plan to order it with it and want to get floorboards, and accesories. This is my biggest question about a winch, how do I install it and ware can I get a winch for a good price and is it durable enouf

Get a 4x4 and a winch. If you ride at all your going to get stuck. 4x4 is just to nice to be without.
