I'm facing the same buying decision as NEEDINSOMEHELP. Yesterday, I test drove them both, and I'm leaning toward the Prairie. I love the power, and I'm not sold on IRS. Besides, I'll pretty much be trail riding with it. Also, I've read about some significant problems with the Grizzly (i.e., boiling gas, diff lock hiccups & sputters, overheating, water crossing issues, etc.). The Prairie seems to be the one for me![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I hope everybody buys something other than a Grizz. I dont want to see one at every turn. That being said, I have had no problems with my Grizz. Before someone buys a ATV they need to ride them all and make their own decision.

 

Well...I did it![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Today I bought a new 2003 Kawasaki Prairie 650. I'll pick it up tomorrow afternoon. I think the Grizzly is probably a fine machine, but the Prairie is the right 4X4 quad for me. Thanks for all the constructive input guys!
