I'm down to the Eiger or Prairie?
 

I've narrowed my choice for my 1st ATV to an Eiger 400 or a Praire 360. This ATV will be used strickly for deerhunting/scouting. Going with the automatic and 4x4. I'd greatly appreciate any opinions on these 2 quads.

I'm down to the Eiger or Prairie?
 

Both are good quads. One year ago I was down to this choice too. I had a preferance for 5-speed, so I went with the Eiger as the P360 only comes in auto.

Comments on these boards and in the mags pretty well sum it up: The P360 has all kinds of power but is not the fastest or smoothest running bike. The Eiger has a peppier engine and better overall handling. A recent shootout ranked the Eiger #1 followed by the 360 at #2. Frankly, for your usege, either will work well.

Thanks for the feedback Jaybee! If the publication containing the shootout you referenced was anything like the ones I use to read back in my moto-X days sounds like I can't go wrong with either.
