The best I remember 2000-2003 will interchange. In late 2003 the sprocket hub was switched over to aluminum to save weight. 2004 and up is a different animal.

I may have a good used setup in the garage. Call me tomorrow at: 270-334-3331

i have a 2003 ds650 baja and my rear bearings are shot so i began to take it apart and i got everything off except the brake disk and what it mounts to, the screws to take the disk off the mount are basically stripped and i can get it part way off but at a certain point it wouldnt go no further and i can spin it with out the axle moving...anyone know what to do? i want to ride this weekend!

Rear wheel bearing failures are very common on DS650's. I came up with a kit that uses 2 sealed bearings on each side. I installed my kit on 3 of my DS650's, and haven't had any trouble since. I also use sealed bearings on the front, instead of the open bearings, with separate seals. The part that holds the grease in, on the sealed bearing is steel, instead of rubber, like most sealed bearings. I sell the front kits (enough to do 1 wheel) for $19.95. The rear kits sell for $49.95. They do require modifying the brake & sprocket hubs slightly.

no, the rotor and hub should just slide off. slide it all the way on, then clean the area near where the big aluminum adjusting nut goes. it should slide right off, with a little help.
