who makes a good skidplate quest650xt?
Not sure, but its not to hard to make one if you have a few resources or friends in the right places.
That being said:
I made a cardboard template that fit the bottom of my quad. Picked up some 3/16" aluminum from a local metal supplier, out of there drop rack, so it was basically a scrap 12"wide and 4 feet long, So no cut charge, I paid 20 bucks.
Find someone with a plasma cutter, and have them cut out based on the cardboard pattern. If you need to bend up the edges slightly, you need to find someone in a metal shop (old shop teacher maybe?). Dont really need the bent up sides, but you may be able to bend it to fit by bolting part of it on and forcing it in place.
I have 30 dollars into my full length skid plate, A-arm guards, and mounting hardware.
Otherwise watch e-bay?
