I know it's been said before but............
I have an 04 DS650. I just finished doing my first oil change (after the dealer did the one at 10 hours), and I know that this sentiment has been expressed before but I feel the need....... What was Bombardier thinking when they considered maintenance? That was the biggest mess for an oil change ! Thanks to some of the people at his site I had a heads up about the hose and how to drain the tank (good thing too), but with such a nice machine you'd think that they would have gone the extra mile and made the oil change a little more convenient. I plan on installing a double barbed fitting with a drain valve in the supply hose that runs from the tank to the engine to make that part a little less messy. I noticed that on the 04 machines they don't have a screen on the bottom but they do have a magnet in the drain plug so I guess that is an improvement. Love the machine, but hate the oil change.
