Default to switch to a 15T front or not?

well ill def. put on this 15 for 20s for riding 90% of the year

and ill go order a 14 for the sand.

What is the small washer/locker that goes on before the nut? (i know people have had problems with them in the past letting the nut come back un done)

If i order the 14 i would be changing CT's quite a bit... is it necessary to buy a new washer (what is the official name of this thing so i dont look like a bafoon when i go to the bomb parts shop? lol)
every time i change?

And i wont need to cut a link going to 14? (stock can get it tight enough after i move the engine bolt?)

Thanks

Roost,

I suggest buying it from on-dunes.com because the dealer will want $6 - $7 for it (mine wanted $6.50) and on-dunes.com sells them for $4.95 with the sprocket. Not to mention a good deal on a steet front sprocket that will last.
