ASA (American Sand Assn.) Protest Rally in San Diego!

The American Sand Association is organizing a Protest Rally at the Fish & Wildlife Service office in Carlsbad, CA. In only a few days we should hear about our Delisting petition on the Peirson's Milk Vetch
(PMV) plant that closed 49,300 acres in year 2000. You can find out more information about the protest in our June newsletter or on our website.
Meet at one of the 3 following businesses at *10:00 AM *on *Friday June 11th* for pre-rally information and instructions on OUR protest at the FWS office in Carlsbad. B&R Buggies, 1523 So.Coast Hwy, Oceanside (Oceanside Blvd exit off the I-5) Mech-Tech Motorsports, 1277 Simpson Way, Escondido (Near 78 / 15 Intersection) ACE Cooling, 7852 Raytheon Rd. San Diego (BTW 52, 163 & 805 FWY)
REFORM the ESA will be our protest goal. The Endangered Species Act
(ESA) is broken, we have the proof and want to see this overly abused Act amended. We can keep fighting the little battles on the next listed species but we NEED to attack the source of OUR problems. Please read the ASA June newsletter now available on our website at http://www.asasand.com/documents/new...newsletter.pdf ). Watch for it in your mailbox too!
We currently are gaining Support from ALL those that are affected by this broken Act. Mining, Ranching, Farming, Land Developers and all other uses on OUR public lands. San Diego Supervisor Bill Horn will be speaking at the Protest in Support of ESA reform and many others. Let us HELP our elected officials change this 30 year old Act and make it work for the Future.
We thank you all for your support over the past years and we look forward to our Stake Pulling party in the dunes!
