Do a search, I know it has been discussed before. I know ThePunisher made some posts on the topic at one point.

TheChosenOne,

When you got those numbers, was the automatic compression release enabled or disabled? I'm pretty sure with the compression release disabled, it's supposed to be somewhere in the 200s, but I don't want to give out any bad info since I don't know for sure.

It wasn't disabled, I just hooked up the computer to one of the sparkplug inlets, and ran a 15 second test with full charge, and that was about my average.

To deactivate decompression lever you have to take the valve cover off, push the lever up out of the way, and I stuck a toothpick in it just firm enough to hold it.

Also good idea to go ahead and check valve lash before doing the test while the cover is off in case it has lost clearance because intake valves can stay open when lash is lost.

Mine made 160 lbs with decompression lever working, made 180 lbs without. But this is with 12.5:1 piston and WEB 109 cams.
