I'm also a new Traxter owner as of mid Sept. I had a backfiring problem but was taken care of by my dealer by just doing a carb adjustment. So far so good. This baby has power to spare down LOW!

I bought a Traxter in late August, and really like it. I have over 400 miles on it. The only problem I've experienced with it is that the rear differential will throw gear oil out of the overflow tube and into the frame on while going downhill. Has anyone else run into this problem? The oil drips out of the top of the square tubing frame at the rear of the vehicle. It usually collects on the hitch.

No I have not had the problem with the rear diff. spitting out gear oil. I now have close to 100 miles on it and it runs great. One thing that kind of irritates though is the silly gas cap. No matter how tight you screw it on it leaks out fuel until the tank level is below full. It smells gas and leaves a gas streak on the plastic fender.
Do I have a bad cap or what?

Hi All,

I haven't had either of those problems (rear diff or gas cap).

Talk to you soon.
