Big Gun the pipe to own.... sheet. I was gonna buy a big gun, but instead i went for the cheaper FMF Powercore 4. O well, i'm happy anywayz

 

I just installed the Big Gun Quiet series on my 2004 Baja X. I love it now that I have the jstting dialed in. Part of me wishes I had gotten the race series but do not want the noise ticket that is being written here on the Oregon Dunes.

I am a big guy. 6'2' 295lbs and before i got the pipe i had some serious problems doing tree shots. I went to Sandlake here on the Oregon coast Sunday and was able to do just about any climb I chose to do. I am a rookie rider and have some fear factors so I did not push the DS to its limits. i was right with some built Banshees on the flat drags. they were just quicker than me off the line.

the Big Gun was a easy installed. Just had to move a couple hoses as they were too close and had to bend the fan shroud a little to make room for the header pipe.

i have talked to Big Gun about getting the race insert for the pipe. Might give it a try. Just a $30 part plus $20 for new packing.

 

When i installed my pipe, that piece of metal that was hangin off the factory grab bar was touchin the pipe. So i cut it off. I'm pretty sure that i installed it rite. Anyone else have to do this?
