I've pulled an 8000+ lb truck up a slight grade ON GRAVEL with my Arctic Cat 500. I just needed a bout a 6ft head start on some grass to get the truck rolling before I hit the gravel. When I hit the gravel I started spining like crazy but still made it over the slight upgrade. After that it was all level land so my cat had no touble at all pulling the truck in 2nd gear/low with the factory tires.

I've heard that the traxter has better gearing and a better front differential, so I think it should be able to do the same.
