Of course not. Every state has it's own rules. You ask as if you would plate it there and then try to ride in New York. If it were true, I guess I'd have mine plated long ago and some street tires.

Devil, I agree, I don't think that can be done. I wonder though, if because it would be considered street legal here in AZ, you could ride anywhere in the states? I'm sure you would be stopped everywhere you went, but if you had your documentation...Hmmm...I'm going to have to look into that! I know some one did a 250R ATC in CA alooooong time ago. It was in the old 3&4 wheel action mag....probably in the late 80's.

speaking of driving on roads legally Does any one remember the ads in Dirt wheels for the reverse 3-wheeler they had a custom swing arm w/ a motorcycle tire mounted to a ATV. I think the ad had a warrior in it, I thought it looked way cool. But it must of not of flew cuz I dont see the ads no more. Now that would work in some states cuz like here in MI all axeled vehicles need a differential and some DOT crap. so this would get by this requirement.

Squatcher - Was that $960.00 a year for your DS or $96.00?
Freakneh - What company did you get insurance for $96.00 from? Was it the same as Squatcher's Berglund Agency?

I'm street legal in AZ and currently w/ Progressive.

BTW - My vehicle title from the AZ DMV says it's a modified motorcycle!
Some states may recognize it and let me pass but I bet others would ticket me.

That was $930 for all three quads with full coverage. My DS is street plated too. I can ride to work if I want. In AZ it is real easy to get street plates for quads. Where is everyone getting those cheap rates for $150 per year. It must be the state you guys are in.

I got that thru my State Farm agent here in Tucson.
J.
Edit: Let me clarify...my quote was just for riding on the street, not for coverage on theft, etc.
