Roughlander V-800? BRP release a Vtwin 800efi in a...
BRP/Lynx released a Vtwin 800 in a sled for the European market
http://www.skoter.se/scripts/nyhetsa...tikel_id=10396
The 2006 Lynx Yeti V800 Utility sled
They also released a Vtwin 1300 in the Yeti, though way too big for quad design IMO
As some of you might know the 4tech rotax engines are of modular design
aka the 500 in the Quest shares the same basic cylinders/piston/valve design as the V1000 Skidoo engine and the 1500 triple in the Seadoo
So Bombardier took the 650 Quest cylinders/etc and put them onto the V1000 bottom end and made the V1300
Anyway back to quads
I see the V800efi in the Lynx Snowmobile as the perfect fit into the Outlander 800
#1 it a twin 800 so it should be comparable powerwise to the Brute Force 750 and the Sportmans 800
#2 its efi like the Sportman 800 and KQ Suzook
#3 its a Vtwin like the Brute Force 650/750/Prairie 700
Now stick this into a Outlander "type" single spar chassis
What are your thoughts?

There's been a lot of discussion over this topic, I know I'm hoping for the best. This quad was expected for April release, but not looking like it. Some are saying June, others say not until next year. I think BRP is mising a lot of potential income by not getting this quad to market. They have so many good ideas but sit on them way too long. Its a shame really.
