How much was your meter? I wouldnt midn somthing hand held if it was cheap (or even somthing I could mount, but I can see that being a pain)

I think I will spring for the TM, and then hit the dyno. Looks like pro source yamaha has one (its just over an hour from me)

Sam I have the HMF sport series, open end with no sparky or queit core. I plan to return to the dyno in a month or so to make pulls with both the sparky screen and the quiet insert to see what changes, if any, may be needed.
on this same dyno day we will also be tuning a Raptor with a TM45 too, that'll be interesting.

I will hopefully be able to scan the charts next week so you guys can see the lean dip I spoke of, riding around the counrtyside this week I have noticed the imporvement and its great. It was subtle enough to not realize before, but now that the power is there its noticable. I feel kinda silly not doing more experimenting before in search of more power in other places, but you get so caught up in looking at other people's setup, and starting where others are at, its easy to overlook certain things and get caught up on the wrong track. That's what this thread is all about - don't rely on other people's setup to steer you, just use them as starting suggestions but find your own peek tuning.
