Where does the Traxter air intake end at? Or, how deep on the exterior of the bike can water rise to and be safe?

Depends on the year model, early units like mine have the air intake under the speedo display, take a look. If newer model, it is changed to pickup air in the radiator shroud, in the upper right corner, looks nice, also they changed from the big paper air filter to a round foam style, that can be cleaned.
